By now, most people have tried, or at least heard of kratom. As such, many are familiar with the different kratom veins: mainly red vein, green vein, and white vein kratom. On the other hand, not too many people are familiar with yellow kratom veins.
In this article, we shall focus mainly on yellow kratom, more specifically Yellow Sumatra Kratom, a highly unusual, but nonetheless well-liked kratom strain amongst avid kratom connoisseurs.
Kratom Revealed
For those who are just learning about kratom, allow us to provide a brief introduction to help you gain some understanding of this miraculous herb.
For as long as it can be noted, inhabitants of some of the most tropical regions of Southeast Asia have been enjoying kratom. Picked from the Mitragyna Speciosa tree, kratom leaves are often named after the specific region from which they are sourced. For example, Thai kratom hails from Thailand, while Indo Kratom is sourced from Indonesia. In addition, kratom is then named after the color of the vein of the leaves at the exact age the leaves are plucked from the Kratom tree.
Letβs take a look at the three most common kratom veins before we delve into yellow kratom and its unique nature.
Green Vein Kratom: picked from young kratom trees, green vein kratom is mild in nature. These leaves are most often brought indoors to dry for a time, then returned to nature to benefit even more from natural light. Suitable for beginners, green vein kratom is a hot seller.
White Vein Kratom:
Picked from trees that are in their young adulthood, white kratom is labeled as a moderate kratom strain. It is also mainly dried indoors in a dark environment before it is returned to sunlight. White vein kratom is labeled as the middle-of-the-road strain that is mainly preferred by those who have progressed from green vein kratom but are not quite ready to unleash the powerful force that is otherwise known as red vein kratom.
Red Vein Kratom
Held in the highest regard by experienced kratom users, red vein kratom is rather strong and is best left for those who have tried other kratom strains first. It is best to start off with a mild dose of red kratom until you know how your body reacts to its powerful punch!
In most instances, red vein kratom is dried only in direct sunlight. Some red strains are dried in other ways, but in order to achieve the reddish hue, red vein kratom is most often dried outdoors only.
Yellow Vein Kratom
There are many ways in which yellow vein kratom is achieved. Some strains of yellow kratom come from those leaves which happen to be harvested at the exact moment the leaves turn yellow, which leaves a brief window. In addition, yellow kratom can be a carefully orchestrated hybrid of the high-quality red vein, white vein, and/or green vein kratom. In some cases, the yellow hue is obtained during the drying process.
One thing to keep in mind, in accordance with the above, is that each variety of yellow kratom is different and may vary from one kratom seller to another. You should always read the information about that particular strain before you purchase it, so you know you are getting what you are looking for with regard to the yellow kratom experience.
Sumatra Kratom
Sumatra Kratom is grown in Indonesia on the Sumatra Islands. Kratom farmers in this area are specially trained to tend to the Sumatra Kratom tree to know the best time to harvest each vein of Sumatra Kratom.
Sumatra Kratom is said to have the highest presence of Mitragynine, an alkaloid that occurs naturally in all kratom trees. As well, it is also rich in many other alkaloids, including 7-Hydroxymitragynine. Therefore, Sumatra kratom is hailed by many as an extremely strong kratom strain, with green being the mildest form.
Yellow Sumatra Kratom
Yellow Sumatra kratom is a combination of the green vein and white vein Sumatra Kratom. The leaves are dried for as many as twenty days before they are ground together to yield Yellow Sumatra Kratom. In instances where there is a higher portion of white Sumatra, the strain is labeled as gold kratom. On the other end of the spectrum, yellow Sumatra kratom contains higher levels of green Sumatra kratom.
In addition to high levels of both 7-Hydroxymitragynine and Mitragynine, with higher levels of the latter, yellow vein kratom is also rich in the following alkaloids:
β Epicatechin
β Isospeciofoline
β Mitraciliatine
β Mitrafoline
β Speciociliatine
β Paynantheine
Where to Buy Yellow Sumatra Kratom
Due to its obscurity, as it takes quite some time to cultivate, yellow Sumatra Kratom is quite rare, and therefore, it might be hard to get your hands on this unique strain. This is why you need to proceed with caution. Do not purchase yellow Sumatra from a local vendor, especially a street vendor. The final product is most likely not high-quality kratom and could be contaminated.
For these reasons, it is best to seek yellow Sumatra Kratom from a trusted online kratom seller. You can tell that a kratom vendor is solid if they are working in accordance with the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines set forth by the American Kratom Association (AKA). Also, use caution as kratom is still unlawful in many places as it may be banned or even illegal.
Yellow Sumatra Kratom may be consumed in the same manner as other kratom strains. These include kratom capsules, kratom teas, kratom extracts, and kratom powders. Kratom extracts are the most expensive, with capsules a close second. Many prefer kratom powder as it has a multitude of uses and most vendors carry it in bulk. Kratom tea is harder to find, but you can brew your own using dried kratom leaves or kratom powder.
